John Wayne Airport (SNA) is owned and operated by the County of Orange. It is the only commercial airport and one of two general aviation airports in the County and is located approximately 35 miles south of Los Angeles, between the cities of Costa Mesa, Irvine and Newport Beach.
The Airport spans 500 acres and two runways serve commercial and private aircraft: a 5,700-foot main runway and a 2,887-foot general aviation runway.
Ten commercial, two commuter and two all-cargo airlines operate at John Wayne Airport. The Airport serves almost 9 million passengers and handles almost 16,000 tons of cargo each year.
Approximately 600 general aviation aircraft are based at the Airport and are supported by facilities offering aircraft fueling, hangar space, maintenance services, aircraft sales, charter flights and flight instruction.

LA/Ontario International Airport
LA/Ontario International Airport (IATA: ONT, ICAO: KONT, FAA LID: ONT) (formerly Ontario International Airport) is a public airport located two miles (3 km) east of the central business district (CBD) of Ontario, a city in San Bernardino County, California, USA. The airport covers 1,700 acres and has two runways. It is the second major international airport in the area, after Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Ontario International Airport is typically less crowded and easier to use than LAX.
The airport is located approximately 38 miles (61 km) east of Downtown Los Angeles. Drivers can either use the San Bernardino Freeway or the Pomona Freeway to access the airport. It is also served by local buses and by private shuttles, though most passengers drive or are picked up at the airport.
The airport is dominated by Southwest Airlines who carried 49.38% of passengers in 2007. The other four airlines in the top five were United Airlines/United Express (8.64%), Delta Airlines (7.93%), US Airways (7.08%), and American Airlines (6.18%). In 2008, 6.2 million passengers used the airport.

The airport uses T-Mobile HotSpot service which is available to T-Mobile subscribers. If you are not a subscriber it is available on an hourly basis with typical rates of USD $6.00 for the first hour and 10 cents per minute thereafter; or with a 24-hour portable DayPass that is available for about $10.
